For the first time in 18 years, Tripping Daisy took the stage in Dallas. The band, one of North Texas' most popular groups in the '90s, became known for its single "I Got A Girl." It disbanded after the death of guitar player Wes Berggren in late 1999.

On Tripping Daisy's long-awaited, unexpected reunion: 'I can't say 'never' about anything anymore'

And like that, Tripping Daisy was done.

Frontman Tim DeLaughter never really planned on getting the band back together, and instead started the band Polyphonic Spree.

The band's first show was Thursday, May 11 at Club Dada in Deep Ellum. The second, bigger show is at Homegrown Festival in Main Street Garden in downtown Dallas on Saturday, May 13.
