Two of Latin music's biggest stars are co-headlining a brief North American tour this summer that stops in three Texas cities.
Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull come to American Airlines Center in Dallas on June 16, followed by San Antonio's AT&T Center on June 17 and Houston's Toyota Center on June 18. Pop band CNCO, from reality TV competition La Banda, open the show. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at noon via Live Nation.
Both Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull have dominated the pop music landscape in recent years. And, in fact, they've done so together. In 2011, Iglesias made a cameo during Pitbull halftime performance at the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving football game and the two toured together in 2014.
Iglesias rose to super stardom with songs such as "Bailamos" and "Hero." His most recent single, 2016's "Duele El Corzon," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart, reportedly garnering the highest single week audience for a song since 2008 with 18.6 million audience impressions when it was released last April.
Pitbull's electro-rap vibe has made him a favorite among Spanish- and English-speaking audiences. His concert in Dallas last summer was a huge party, according to reviewer Lorena Flores.
The Miami-based artist released his 10th album on March 17, entitled Climate Change, which received three stars from Rolling Stone. Check out the single "Options," featuring Stephen Marley, below.
