Kacey Musgraves has had one helluva holiday season. Between the release of her new A Very Kacey Christmas album and a slew of performances to promote it, the East Texas pop star has been everywhere celebrating the magic that comes with holidays.
Over the weekend, she received probably the most spectacular gift of all: Boyfriend Ruston Kelly proposed on Christmas Eve while at Musgraves' childhood home. According to the singer's detailed post about the events on Facebook, Kelly decorated her childhood room with holidays accents and coordinated a surprise visit from Musgraves' sister and brother-in-law before popping the question. The bling came in a pink velvet box.
"I didn't say yes...I said HELL YESSSS!!" Musgraves wrote on Instagram.
Lucky for fans, she shared the details of the big moment through several social media posts.
Kelly is a Nashville-based songwriter and musician. According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple first appeared together on each other's social media pages in July and publicly attended last month's Country Music Awards as a couple.
