Tickets for Smooth Holiday Groove with Keith Sweat and Kem at Verizon go on sale Friday

Tickets for The Smooth Holiday Groove featuring Keith Sweat and Kem go on sale Friday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m.

The shows that these two put on are so slick that it's a wonder they can stay on the stage. 

Kem's last Christmas CD kept fires burning with songs such as title track "What Christmas Means" and old roasted chestnuts such as "Merry Christmas Baby" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Sweat has been no slouch here, either. A Christmas of Love may not be the last gift he gave you, but it's vintage Sweat with songs such as "Be Your Santa Claus."

The show couldn't be complete without some of Sweat's covers of his production work for other artists and his own hits. And the inspirational Kem's stage testimonial is perfect for a Christmas show and, well ... "Love Calls."

Radio station Smooth R&B 105.7 is presenting the "KRNB Christmas" on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m. at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie.

The venue is at 1001 Performance Drive, Grand Prairie. Tickets cost $45-$109.50. Doors open at 7.
