Update: Ticketmaster adds another '5 million worth' of eligible class action tickets, including some of the original Dallas options

Hey, remember Saturday when we found out Ticketmaster would finally make good on a now-settled class action lawsuit? If not, here's the full story.

In short, if you purchased tickets through the popular online seller between 1999 and 2013, there's a good chance you have credit for a free concert or ten waiting in your account.

But, there's a catch:

The vouchers are available for a limited amount of shows in the U.S. and Canada, and while that list includes some awesome acts, not all of them will be rolling through D-FW. Furthermore, all of the Texas dates are at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, and vouchers are good for general admission on the lawn.

Catch up on the day's news you need to know.

Or with:

Update, June 22: Ticketmaster has updated its list, and all of the Gexa Energy Pavilion shows have been removed. Gone are Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg. They've been replaced mostly by tribute artist dates at House of Blues.

Update, June 24: Ticketmaster has re-added some of the original Gexa shows and added additional dates at Live Nation venues in other Texas cities like Houston and San Antonio.

The company released this statement online, "[N]early $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers."

Update, June 22: Our Tiney Ricciardi reached out to Ticketmaster for clarification on code application issues and why some buyers were reportedly able to purchase premium seats with their vouches while others could not. A rep responded with a link to their FAQs.

"We do not have a spokesperson available for interview," she said, via email.
