What kind of tunes are you jamming while cooking dinner, showering, or pulling in the driveway from a long day at work? Ever wonder if your neighbors have similar tastes?

Apparently, people in Richardson are into alt-rock. Those in the Perry Heights neighborhood in Oak Cliff like country and indie. True?

Wonder no more folks, Spotify has been listening to your streams and can answer that question.

The music streaming service recently pulled data from eight Dallas neighborhoods to see which genres are most popular around the city. The company looked at songs with at least 500 streams in a specific zip code in a recent two-week period, then compared each song's popularity against other areas nationwide.

So just like we can say Texans love breakfast tacos more than the rest of the country, now we can see which local 'hoods love Bieber more than others (even if they're not willing to admit it).

Do the following genres accurately represent your music tastes? Let us know on Twitter and Facebook!
