Fort Worth-based soul singer Leon Bridges' star just keeps on rising.
Bridges' new album, Coming Home, has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop chart. The album, which came out June 23, sold 38,000 copies last week and bumped A$AP Rocky out of the top spot.
Since March, Bridges has performed to a packed house at SXSW, appeared on James Corden's late-night show and landed on the bill for Austin City Limits. You can see Bridges in Dallas on November 14 when he plays the Majestic Theatre.
