Sometimes your romantic fantasy movie is a gem like The Shape of Water. Other times? It's Fifty Shades Darker. While there are several award shows dedicated to honoring great films like the former, the Gold Raspberry Awards -- the "Razzies" -- exist to, uh, "honor" the latter.

Traditionally announced in the lead-up to the Academy Award discussions, the Razzie nominations generate their own flavor of weird buzz. Who would have thought that people on the internet enjoy trashing things they don't like?

This is not a list that tears down small passion projects that simply didn't nail what they were going for. The nominees for categories like "Worst Actress" include beloved, often critically acclaimed names like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson. Even our favorite performers sometimes make movies that stink.

This year's nominations were announced Monday. The notable contenders? Transformers: The Last Knight, The Mummy, Baywatch, The Emoji Movie and Fifty Shades Darker. Check out the full list below.
