Bonnie is coming back to town.

Faye Dunaway, who rose to stardom and fashion icon status as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie and Clyde, will attend the film's opening night screening at the Dallas International Film Festival Thursday. She will also receive the festival's Dallas Star Award.

To those who say "So what?" or know Dunaway only from the recent Oscars snafu, I point you toward Bonnie and Clyde, The Thomas Crown Affair, Little Big Man, Chinatown, Three Days of the Condor and Network. Dunaway starred in all of those movies between 1967 and 1976, winning an Oscar for Network. That's a remarkable run  by and actor, in any area, by any standard. She owned beautiful neurosis.
