Studio Movie Grill opens another movie theater in Dallas-Fort Worth

Studio Movie Grill isn't new to Arlington, but the rapidly growing dinner-and-movie theater chain will soon boast two locations in the city on parallel interstates.

On Jan. 19, the newest spot opened in Lincoln Square, just off of I-30, a couple of miles from local entertainment destinations such as Six Flags and Globe Life Park. It sits on the city's northern side, opposite of the other Arlington location on I-20, which means that — while the two theaters are only about 6 miles apart — the chain has a presence on both of the busy roadways connecting much of eastern and western D-FW.

Studio Movie Grill specializes in first-run movies paired with a full menu and bar. The newest theater marks the prolific Dallas-based company's 24th location in the United States, 13 of which are in Texas. CEO and founder Brian Schultz told our Michael Granberry in 2015 that "Texas has by far the highest concentration of theater dining concepts."
