Will Arnett's Batman was a surprising highlight of The Lego Movie, guaranteeing a laugh just about every time the character was on-screen. A lot of that had to do with the tone. Lego Batman is, in almost every way, a parody of the incredibly dark and broody Dark Knight we've been seeing on movie screens for years.

So it's a relief that on the eve of Batman v Superman's theatrical release -- a movie in which an older Batman is even more brooding and grizzled than in the previous films -- Warner Bros. has given us the first teaser trailer for The Lego Batman Movie, and early indications are that it will be a lot of fun.

Even in all its shadowy sets, Lego Batman looks more colorful than the majority of Batman v Superman.

Arnett doesn't have to carry the movie alone, either. The movie has a star-studded voice cast that includes Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred and Michael Cera as Robin (Dick Grayson).

The Lego Batman Movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
