Here's your first small look at (and full cast of) the upcoming 'Wonder Woman' movie

We've seen glimpses of Gal Gadot (as seen in the Fast & Furious movies) as Wonder Woman before. She'll debut in next year's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, so we've seen her in that trailer and in a promo image featuring her full costume. But in 2017 she'll be getting her own movie, and now we're starting to get a feel for what that might look like.

We actually got an unofficial look at actors Chris Pine and Saïd Taghmaoui (in what appears to be World War I-era attire) last week when the latter actor posted (then promptly deleted) a behind-the-scenes photo to Instagram. Because this is the Internet, someone managed to save it and repost it to Twitter.

Now, Warner Bros. has decided to quench the fans' thirst for leaks by offering up some official material, including a photo of Gadot in her own costume.

WB has also released a cast list, confirming that Chris Pine plays Wonder Woman's boyfriend Captain Steve Trevor (and possibly, if rumors are true, his own grandfather in scenes from an earlier time period).

The rest of the cast includes Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (Clash of Titans), David Thewlis (the Harry Potter series), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Saïd Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead).

They don't say anything else about who those other cast members play or what the overall plot will be. They just say that principal photography is underway.

Wonder Woman is being directed by Monster director Patty Jenkins and is currently scheduled for release on June 23, 2017.
