Owen Wilson remains one of Dallas' biggest Hollywood exports, so we pay attention around here when his career takes a new twist. Such as: Owen Wilson, action hero.

Wilson's new movie, No Escape, finds him dodging unidentified Asians and trying to save his family in an, uh, unidentified Asian country. It's not very good. It's actually kinda xenophobic. But it does give us a chance to wax Wilsonian. Stephen Becker and I consider his efforts as an action star on The Big Screen. Robert Wilonsky and I look at his career in progress, from Bottle Rocket to the present, on Reel Genius. (Robert also reminisces about that time he and Owen took drivers ed together).  Long may the Butterscotch Stallion reign.
