7 Reasons to watch Barack Obama ham it up with Jerry Seinfeld on 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'

Season 7 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the web-series in which Jerry Seinfeld cracks jokes in the back of fancy old cars with other famous folks, premiered Wednesday night.

The 19-minute show is funny — far better than what 30 Rock's SeinfeldVision would have been. Why is POTUS on the show? Well, he is obviously looking to continue to reach the public where they are, but more than that Seinfeld says that Obama has had enough good one-liners to qualify for the show. Good to know he's got standards.

In case you're not convinced, here are a few reasons to watch the episode.

  1. Jerry Seinfeld's outfit — a black blazer, blue jeans and white sneakers combo worthy of the runway in Milan.
  2. "You're a comedian with the President going nowhere."
  3. Insight into Obama's key demographic research.
  4. Obama's aides and the media making cameos — watch for them in the background of shots.
  5. The answers to what life inside the White House is like — hint, Obama has a closet like normal people.
  6. Opportunities for Obama suit-color truthers abound. He said he only has blue and black, but White House watchers will totally remember the tan suit.
  7. The phrase "Jewish version of Citizen Kane" is uttered by the President.
