Pixels on screens across the country are feeling the Bern because of #BabiesforBernie, the newest political dress-up hashtag.
The Instagram fad #BabiesforBernie, a la #TrumpYourCat, is taking off after the first Democratic primary debate. Bernie Sanders, a Democratic senator from Vermont, was second in the polls heading into the debate, during which he sparred with his opponents and even came out in support of Hillary Clinton and her email scandal:
"The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails."
When you think about it, the children "supporting" Sanders on the Internet will likely have some other newfangled contraption for sending messages to one another by the time they are old enough to vote (please be Vulcan mind-melding).
But it is 2015 and that isn't stopping hardcore Bernie Sanders supporters from dressing their children up to look like the rag-tag senator. Now if only they could get his accent down.
