This free attraction makes for an interesting stop on a trip to Fort Worth. It's a one-of-a-kind urban park, designed by Phillip Johnson, with three pools of water, ranging from still to cascading (you can't wade or anything, the water's just to look at). Be prepared for sore legs if you explore the park and aren't accustomed to climbing. Fun fact: Some of "Logan's Run" was filmed there.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is a beautiful and refreshing oasis adjacent to the Fort Worth Convention Center. Designed by Phillip Johnson, the Fort Worth Water Gardens is an architectural and engineering marvel to be enjoyed any time of the year. Visitors can experience a variety of water features as they wander through this relaxing urban park. Admission is free. Information from the park's site
