Tiney Ricciardi Recommends

It didn't take long for Parliament to establish itself as one of Dallas' premiere cocktail lounge. This local gem was pioneered by one of the city's most renown cocktail ninjas, Eddie "Lucky" Campbell, whose passion can be found in every single one of the 100-plus drinks on the menu. In the off chance you can't find something to love, feel free to tell the bartender your spirit of choice. It's one of Uptown's coziest spots where you'll often see men in fedoras and garnishes crowding the bar. But don't feel obligated to look nice -- it's not as pretentious as it sounds.

In the space that once was Four Lounge in Uptown's State and Allen neighborhood, Parliament has arrived with a gorgeous, ambitious cocktail menu. More than 100 libations are featured under categories such as "London Roads" (gin) and "Forbidden" (absinthe), along with some pie-in-the-sky creations with prices to match. You can order food; however, Parliament has no kitchen — your order will come from State & Allen Kitchen & Bar down the street. Marc Ramirez/
