When Crosby closed at the end of regular business day February 16, 2009, a flurry of activity began, resulting in a new and improved Crosby Community Center. Half of the existing building was completely torn down and rebuilt. There is now a new large multi-purpose room with kitchen facilities, upgraded meeting room facilities, updated locker and restroom areas, new fitness center with completely upgraded equipment, enlarged game area, enhanced front counter, and office areas. The remodel opened May 1, 2010.
