Watch: Dallas rapper Post Malone makes late-night debut on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Rapper Post Malone joined the ranks of locals Leon Bridges and Selena Gomez when he made his late-night television debut Wednesday.

The Dallas-raised musician took the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform the single "Go Flex," which is notably not featured on his latest release, the August 26 mix tape. The tune is, however, all but the official song of summer -- at least according to the poll we're conducting, in which "Go Flex" is outpacing Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce with more than 12 times the number of votes.

Post Malone (real name Austin Post) broke into the mainstream last year with the hit "White Inverson," which has garnered nearly 178 million on YouTube. The 20-year-old has also been tapped by hip-hop legends Kanye West and Jay-Z to collaborate on material, and earlier this spring he opened for Justin Bieber's tour. He even performed at Coachella earlier this year.

Quite a resume for an artist making his late-night debut. Don't touch that dial -- you 'll likely be seeing him on your TVs sooner rather than later.
