Leave it to Industry Alley to demonstrate how to turn a bad Claus into a good cause.
This Saturday, drag your naughty self to Charlie Papaceno's no-frills cocktail lounge just south of downtown for a holiday party that the esteemed barman says will feature Bad Bar Santa and Naughty Mrs. Claus.
Photographs with the two will be available for a $10 donation, and all proceeds will go toward the Dallas VA Medical Center.
"This is near and dear to my heart," says Papaceno, a military vet who found the hospital a much-needed resource when he was diagnosed with cancer, just after he'd left the venerable Windmill Lounge to launch his new bar.
The charity event runs from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday and holiday drink specials will be available, sponsored by Woodford Reserve, Absolut and Tullamore Dew.
