If you saw superheroes rappelling down Children's Medical Center in Plano today, your mind wasn't playing tricks on you.

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and his friend Batman surprised patients in the hospital to help celebrate Halloween.

With great power comes great responsibility as the other 364 days of the year, Spider-Man (Alex Barrera) and Batman (Joshua Rodriguez) work as window washers in Dallas.

After greeting the kids from the outside, the superheroes then went inside and handed out Halloween surprises and goodies to the kids and their families (but sadly, no candy. Hospital rules!)

The superhero visit has become an annual tradition for Children's Medical Center for several years and judging from all the smiles, Spider-Man and friends will likely continue to make the yearly visit.
