Harley Quinn is up to her old tricks and, this time, she's stealing Batman Day right out from under the Dark Knight's cowl.

Batman Day is Saturday. Sept. 23. And the comically homicidal villain will turn 25 this year. DC Comics couldn't let this prime opportunity pass it by.

Check with your local comic book store to see how they plan to celebrate. I plan to at least check in with Red Pegasus Comics, 208 W. 8th St., Dallas; Keith's Comics, 5400 E. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 120, Dallas; and Zeus Comics & Collectibles, 1334 Inwood Road.

For digital readers, a Harley Quinn 25th Anniverary sale will start Sept. 12. Other Bat titles will join in the sale starting Sept. 19, with a free comic.

Even clothing brands are joining in the fun. Hot Topic will offer clothing items and Journeys will have its DC Comics Converse for sale.

There's also an official Batman Day Activity Kit for the downloading at dccomics.com.
