Video game and cartoon characters pose for a group shot following the SGC cosplay contest held Saturday at the Frisco Conference Center.

Thousands of gamers made their way to Frisco this weekend for SGC (formerly known as the ScrewAttack Gaming Convention). They came from all over (seriously, I was only there for about 15 minutes before I bumped into someone from Canada) to play games and hang out with friends.

Like any good, geeky convention, a lot of the people there showed up in costume. On Saturday night, SGC celebrated the best of them with a costume contest.

It couldn't have been easy to pick the winners out of that crowd, but the SGC judges made their selections, and you can see the winners announced in the video below.
