See 'Fallout 4' and 'Doom' in Dallas: QuakeCon 2015 schedule announced

QuakeCon is on the horizon. The video game-centric event, which is the biggest LAN party in America, will kick of July 23 at the Hilton Anatole. There will be the usual BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) area, the expo floor, the Table Top Village (which debuted at last year's event) and more, but there will also be a bunch of panels, tournaments and activities that you might want to know about.

Notably, this will be QuakeCon's 20th anniversary, so hopefully we can expect to celebrate accordingly. As usual, admission to convention is free (a guaranteed spot in the BYOC, however, will cost you).

Can't make it to the convention itself? Many of the show's biggest presentations and panels will be streamed live at Twitch.tv/QuakeCon

The big games

If you want to see the big guns from Bethesda's upcoming game lineup, you'll want to hit up the Ventrilo Main Stage on Friday and Saturday.

Fallout 4 -- Friday, July 24 at 1 p.m.: Bethesda's Todd Howard will give an exclusive QuakeCon presentation of the highly anticipated sequel.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited -- Friday, July 24 at 4:30 p.m.: While the main game is already out, developers from ZeniMax Online Studios will be showing off some of the new content coming soon to ESO.

Doom -- Saturday, July 25 at 3 p.m.: The game that Id Software's fans have been waiting a very, very long time for. The game was exclusively shown off to QuakeCon attendees last year (almost a full year before the rest of the world got to see it at E3), but they'll be talking about it more at this year's convention.

Table Top Village

After debuting at last year's QuakeCon, Table Top Village is making a return in 2015. There will be tournaments and community-run events for games like Magic The Gathering, Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. (Some of those events can be found in the full schedule below.) It will open July 23 at 10 a.m. and close on Sunday, July 26 at noon.
