We've known for awhile now that Captain Marvel would be one of the pillars in phase three of Marvel's cinematic universe, and today the studio has taken another step toward the November 2, 2018 release (I know, we've got a long way to go). Marvel.com posted the announcement that Nicole Perlman & Meg LeFauve will be working together to bring Carol Danvers to the big screen.
Perlman might be a known (and trusted) name to Marvel fans already, as she was part of the screenwriting team behind the wonderful Guardians of the Galaxy. LeFauve is no stranger to big movies either, as she was one of the writers behind Pixar's next big movie, Inside Out.
Sadly, Marvel didn't offer any new info beyond that. But Captain Marvel is one of the upcoming Marvel movies I'm looking forward to most, so I'm anxious to see what Perlman and LeFauve do with the character.
