Avengers: Age of Ultron is finally almost here, so Marvel decided to remind us that there are at least two more blockbuster superhero mashups on the way by announcing who will be directing the third and fourth Avengers movies.Joe and Anthony Russo will be taking the helm from previous Avengers director Joss Whedon for parts 1 and 2 of Avengers: Infinity War, which are scheduled to be released in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
The Russo brothers aren't new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They directed the excellent Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will soon be filming Captain America: Civil War, so I think the Avengers films are in good hands.
The next Call of Duty will be Black Ops III
If you happen to still play Call of Duty: Black Ops II online, you might have noticed something weird lately. The folks at Activision secretly added some images to a few of the in-game posters on multiplayer levels. Take a photo of that image with Snapchat and you'll start following a mysterious user named Dr. Salim.
As it turns out, this was all just the start of a bizarre viral marketing campaign for this year's Call of Duty game, Black Ops III. Activision says to expect a more detailed reveal of the game on April 26.
Lego toys are coming to life
If you're a fan of the Skylanders or Disney Infinity games but thought, "This would be better with Lego," well, you're in luck. Lego is getting into the so-called "toys to life" style of video games with a new game called Lego: Dimensions. When it's released in September, you will be able to scan select Lego figures into game, including favorite characters from movies such as Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Rings and The Lego Movie.
