The Amy Schumer train is back on the tracks and it's set to derail, at least momentarily, at Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant, Okla., on November 19. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CST on June 28 via fellow trainwreck, Ticketmaster. Get ready for a bit of sticker-shock: They start at $99.
The Oklahoma stop is the closest for most North Texans. (It's roughly 2 hours north of Downtown Dallas on US-75). Other Texas dates include San Antonio on Nov. 17, Austin on Nov. 18 and Houston on Nov. 20.
Schumer announced the 50-plus city world tour last night during a gig at Madison Square Garden. She is, by the way, the "first female stand-up comedian" to sell-out the famous New York City arena, a release says.
In 2015, Schumer's Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer, won the inaugural Emmy Award for "Outstanding Sketch Variety Series."
Her book, The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, is set for release on August 16.
