Fanzo Sports Bar opens in Frisco

The sports bar will have its grand opening on March 22, 2024.

Frisco sports enthusiasts now have a new option to enjoy food and drinks at Fanzo Sports Bar, which opened its doors Monday and will have its grand opening on March 22, 2024.

Fanzo is a 5,000-square-foot sports bar “ready to welcome sports fans and foodies from across the DFW metroplex as Frisco’s premier entertainment destination,” a news release said.

Guests can watch games on numerous screens, including a 7-foot-high video wall. Seating options include leather booths, barstools and a mezzanine lounge area.

The menu features creations from chef Vijay Sadhu, the release said. These include bang bang chicken served with curry leaves, scallions, ginger, garlic and bang bang sauce; chicken lollipops available with Manchurian hot sauce or gochujang sauce; crispy chicken wings with the chef’s special Fanzo sauce; and braised short rib topped with Mexican curry mole and fenugreek mashed potatoes.

Drinks include craft cocktails by Sadhu and Brian McCullough.

“Our goal is to set a new standard of excellence for restaurants not only in Frisco, but the entire sports bar genre, where fans and foodies alike can gather,” Sadhu said in the release.
