Dallas Independent School District elementary-schoolers who got straight As on their report cards — and can prove it — are invited to celebrate with a pizza party. Greenville Avenue Pizza Company is handing out a free slice per smart kid May 29 through June 2 at one of its Dallas restaurants.

The deal was timed in conjunction with Dallas ISD students' last day of school on May 29.

Free lunch (or dinner) is for any kindergarten through fifth-grade student who brings a report card to GAPCo on Peavy Road in Dallas.

Parents, note: The deal is not good at the original GAPCo on Greenville Avenue in Dallas.

"It's a simple and delicious way for parents to honor their hard-working children," says a press release. "And, let's be honest: it's also a great excuse for the family to get together for some pizza."

Mom and dad, you'll have to pay your own way.

Greenville Avenue Pizza Company is located at 1145 Peavy Road, Dallas.
