The bird-themed gastropub in Fort Worth is offering a four-course menu to ring in the new year for $75 per person, with optional wine pairings for $35 each. Before you head out to Sundance Square for its annual NYE festivities, enjoy this special menu with dishes like vichyssoise, pan-seared duck, beef short rib, and a blueberry and poppy cake. Blue Mesa Grill

A night out on New Year's Eve can get pricey — and maybe spending $90 on dinner isn't in the budget. Instead, wait until midmorning, when all Blue Mesa Grill locations in D-FW will serve a New Year's Day brunch buffet. The restaurants will have several cook-to-order stations for street tacos, omelets and huevos rancheros, enchiladas, adobe pie and more. The meal also includes fresh orange juice, aguas frescas, Champagne, mimosas, coffee, tea or soft drinks. $22 for adults, $7 for kids 6-11, free for children 5 and younger. CBD is also offering seven beef choices from Texas ranchers, including a 12-ounce New York strip, an 8-ounce tenderloin from A Bar N Ranch, a 16-ounce bone-in, dry-aged New York strip and a 28-ounce dry-aged côte de boeuf from 44 Farms. The iconic restaurant by Wolfgang Puck that sits atop the revolving Reunion Tower is hosting a New Year's Eve bash with a six-course tasting menu. Dishes include "steak and eggs" Japanese A5 nigiri with Kaluga caviar, bigeye tuna tartare, king crab and Maine lobster salad, duck confit spring roll and A Bar N Ranch New York strip. The menu runs $165 per person, with optional wine pairings for an extra $50 per person. Diners are invited to stay and enjoy a front-row seat to Reunion Tower's fireworks show. The Holy Grail Pub 

Wine isn't the only thing that pairs well with red meat. The Holy Grail Pub in Plano has crafted a special beer dinner for New Year's Eve. For $65 a person, with beer pairings included, the menu starts with cremini mushroom ravioli paired with Deep Ellum Cabernet barrel-aged Four Swords. From there, move on to oysters Rockefeller soup paired with Cigar City Maduro and a frisée salad paired with Oskar Blues Old Chub. On New Year's Day, this restaurant in the Shops at Legacy is open with its regular brunch menu. In the heart of downtown Dallas, on top of the retail shop Forty Five Ten, Mirador is offering a festive four-course prix fixe menu for New Year's Eve. For $95 a person, dinner options include butter-poached halibut, collard greens and bouillabaisse, trout tartare and polenta with aged Parmesan, black pepper and truffle. For an extra $70 per person, diners can enjoy wine pairings throughout the night. Included in the price is a Champagne toast at midnight, and guests can keep the party going with cocktails in the lounge until 1 a.m. Reservations required. The bar has also created a spiced bourbon Old-Fashioned made with apple-spiced Jim Beam, pear purée, bitters and orange peel for $14. The restaurant known for its cuts of beef is open New Year's Eve so you can indulge in all your favorites. Before 5:30 p.m., a three-course meal is offered for $59.95 per person. After that, the price increases to $79.95 per person, and guests can choose from options like lobster bisque, Caesar salad, a 14-ounce prime rib-eye, grilled salmon with lemon dill butter and white chocolate cheesecake. The evening begins with an amuse-bouche of house-smoked city ham with pepper jelly and pimento cheese. From there, choose from Cobb salad, oyster chowder and braised lamb ragout. The second course includes three more options: wood-grilled A Bar N Ranch Wagyu sirloin, wood-grilled striped bass or the Long Walk to Nashville fried chicken. Not a fan of red meat? Head to Truluck's this New Year's Eve. The seafood restaurant, which owns fisheries in Florida, is serving a three-course prix fixe menu for the holiday. Move on to the second course, with choices of clam chowder, Caesar salad, wedge salad and lobster bisque. The third course includes the options of blackened redfish Pontchartrain, sweet and spicy halibut, prime Alaskan king crab and South African lobster tail. Finally, couples can share one of four dessert options: carrot cake, chocolate malt cake, New York cheesecake or baked Alaska. These upstairs-downstairs restaurants are each offering special menus for New Year's Eve. Downstairs, Uchi is serving a 10-course tasting menu for $215 for two guests, including oyster and Champagne pearls, a two-piece nigiri, A5 miyazaki rib-eye and more. Upstairs, Uchiba's 10-course menu runs $135 for two people and features dishes including Wagyu skewers, kinoko dumplings, and ham and egg skewers.
