Some tough news on your Taco Tuesday: Taco Bueno is closing 16 locations, and nine of those are in North Texas. 

The now-closed Taco Buenos were located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Hurst, Balch Springs and Granbury, at these addresses:

Arlington

  • 2307 S. Cooper St., Arlington
  • 2140 E. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington

Balch Springs

  • 11932 Elam Road, Balch Springs

Dallas

  • 2630 S. Buckner Blvd., Dallas

Fort Worth

America's favorite Mexican food chain is Taco Bueno, says a poll

The closures outside of Dallas-Fort Worth impact customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.

Taco Bueno is headquartered in Farmers Branch, near Dallas. Its new CEO Omar Janjua says these 16 closures are permanent.

Part of his job, says a press release, is to "identify underperforming business areas and reallocate resources towards more productive pursuits."
