Which D-FW gas station chain did our readers say has the best food options?

The votes are in, and you may not be shocked to hear that fan-favorite gas station Buc-ee's has topped our reader poll (asking "Which gas station chain serves the best food in D-FW?") with an impressive 42.4 percent of the vote.

Coming in behind it was QuickTrip in second place (with 31.13 percent of the vote) followed by Fuel City in third (15.32 percent).

At the bottom of the list with less than one percent of the vote was Circle K. Sorry, y'all. We're sure you're great for other reasons.

Whether you're embarking on a trip to Houston or are just grabbing lunch before heading back to the office, a gas station with good food can be a godsend. (Don't ask my local gas station employees how often I stop in to get the exact same roller item meal multiple times a week.)

Which got us wondering... Which gas station chain located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has the best food? Will you drive the extra miles (low fuel light on your dashboard be darned) to make it to Fuel City? Is your hunger satisfied after a QuikTrip stop? Can you not finish a road trip if you don't have some Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets along the way?

Let us know by voting below. Some caveats: The list is limited to chains that can be found in D-FW. Grocery stores that sell gas don't count.

The poll has now closed.
