Cool River Cafe
The steakhouse is throwing a New Year's Eve party with live music from Inside Out Band, party favors and a balloon drop. A special Champagne menu, as well as a limited dinner menu, will be offered from 11 a.m. until midnight. For those who would rather skip the celebratory meal, the party starts at 9 p.m. and tickets cost $20. Crú Food and Wine Bar
The restaurant is offering a prix fixe three-course meal at all three of its North Texas locations on Dec. 31. Both Del Frisco's Grille and Double Eagle Steak House are offering special prix fixe menus at all D-FW locations. Del Frisco's Grille has a three-course menu, priced at $45 per person, with a multitude of options including the restaurant's famous cheese steak egg rolls, artichoke beignets, seared salmon fillet and coffee-braised pork shank. A meal at the Double Eagle Steak House will run you a little more, at $90 a person, but there's an extra course, with choices such as Wagyu beef carpaccio, tuna tartare, filet mignon and chocolate soufflé cake. If you're looking for a more casual evening without sacrificing an upscale menu, this farm-to-table Fort Worth restaurant is where you might find yourself on New Year's Eve. Ellerbe is offering four gourmet courses for $85 a person, plus an extra $35 if you'd like wine pairings. Seafood enthusiasts will love the selections, which include grilled gulf oysters, shrimp Arnaud and blackened redfish. This romantic, contemporary European bistro is offering two seatings for New Year's Eve with slight variations in the menu for each time. The first seating runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and includes three courses at $65 a person. Diners will be able to choose from items including steak tartare, ravioli with wild mushroom ragout, coq au vin and crème brûlée. At the second seating, which runs from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at $85 a person, the four-course menu includes items like Provençal fish soup, asparagus and pea risotto, Basque-style red snapper and, yes, crème brûlée, as well. For $95 per person, guests can enjoy a three-course meal, wine, a Champagne toast at midnight and after-midnight munchies. For $145 a person, guests will receive everything listed above, plus an open bar. The meal includes six meze items, as well as your choice of entree, such as pistachio-crusted lamb shank or vegetarian stuffed zucchini and eggplant.
