Coming soon to The Star in Frisco: a sushi restaurant with an '80s and '90s vibe

Nearly every week, a new business pops up at The Star in Frisco. Add to the fleet of coming-soon restaurants a new place called Sushi Marquee

According to the plans so far for the growing development on the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Sushi Marquee is the only Japanese-inspired restaurant. While it will sell sashimi, sushi rolls and the like, Sushi Marquee will also offer filets and lobster tail on the menu.

Lunch will be quicker, with items such as ramen and build-your-own poke bowls, says a press release.

The decor will "merg[e] lements of '80s and '90s pop culture with homage to Asian pop culture and live action films," explains Brad Hawkins, a member of the team. His hope is that "eating well and having fun will happen naturally and spontaneously" here.
