Look, we know. The temperature is finally dropping (even in Dallas), holiday ads have started airing and some of you are going to use that as an excuse to go to Starbucks more often -- as if you weren't already stopping there on your way to work.

Good news: Starbucks wants you to share some holiday cheer, so between 2-5 p.m. on Nov. 9-13, if you buy a holiday beverage, you get another one free

Theoretically speaking, though, there's not much stopping you from buying a drink and then keeping the free one for yourself. There are two downsides to this, however: 1) That second drink might get cold. 2) You would be a real Scrooge.

The deal is good on all hot, iced and blended holiday drinks -- and cake pops, interestingly -- of equal or lesser value. If you've forgotten, Starbucks' holiday drinks include the Chestnut Praline Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, Holiday Spice Flat White and Teavana Joy Brewed Tea.
