There's no plan to test Tacodeli in Plano. Owners Eric Wilkerson and Roberto Espinosa are coming in hot, expected to open two Tacodelis in Plano in 2018. (It's a shop so nice, they signed it twice?)

The Austin-born shop -- an up-and-coming favorite among many Texans -- opened its first Dallas-area shop in 2015 to much fanfare. It's our one and only, for now, though a Tacodeli is expected to open at the northeast corner of Walnut Hill and Central Expressway in "winter 2017," says a press release.

The Plano restaurants will be located near Highway 121 and Parkwood Boulevard (east of the intersection of 121 and the Dallas North Tollway, near the Container Store); and at Park Boulevard and Preston Road (near the Whole Foods).

Tacodeli sells simple tacos filled with any combination of meat, vegetables and cheese. Don't miss the impossibly spicy green sauce, one of many dress-your-own taco-topping options made in-house. The restaurant also makes its own dairy-free horchata. Any taco can be served on a gluten-free corn tortilla.

We'll leave you with this: Tacodeli is BYOB.

Tacodeli (expected to open in 2018) will be located at 8442 Parkwood Blvd. and 2401 Preston Road, both in Plano.
