Grab 'n go pizza shop Side Dough is now open in Oak Cliff

The owners of Eno's Pizza Tavern in Oak Cliff have just opened a takeout company off to the side of the restaurant. That's where Side Dough gets its name.

Side Dough will sell the restaurant's full menu for delivery (with a $4.95 fee) or free pick up. It'll also offer beer and wine to go. (Smart! Beer and wine go great with pizza.)

Given the popularity of food delivery services like UberEats and GrubHub, we're seeing local companies offer takeout and delivery options more and more.

Eno's is known for its thin-crust pizzas. Customers can build their own pies or pick one of the signature recipes such as a goat cheese and meatball pizza or a ham, pineapple and jalapeno pizza, among others. Side Dough will also sell dessert pizzas made in conjunction with nearby Emporium Pies. No word yet on what those might be.

Side Dough customers can make orders in person, online or by phone. Soon, order-by-text might become available.

This fall, Eno's will widen its reach east of Dallas when it launches a second restaurant, this one in Forney. That Eno's will not have a side door, err, Side Dough.

Side Dough opened June 1 at 405 N. Bishop Ave., Dallas.
