Fort Worth's new Waterside development is turning into quite a food-friendly spot. Located at Bryant Irvin Road and Arborlawn Drive in Fort Worth, the new complex is anchored by a Whole Foods and surrounded by a Sur La Table, Steel City Pops, Taco Diner, and now, Piattello Italian Kitchen.
The new restaurant serves pizzas, housemade pasta and antipasti. It comes from chef Marcus Paslay, the man behind American restaurant Clay Pigeon, which is also in Fort Worth. Scott Lewis, formerly of the new, notable Italian restaurant in Dallas, Sprezza, will be Piattello's executive chef.
The coffee bar inside the restaurant has been serving Avoca coffee since Jan. 2.
Piattello is a large space -- more than 5,000 square feet -- with a patio. It's now serving lunch and dinner.
