Yes, amigos, it's true.

Dallas-based 7-Eleven announced it is partnering with regional soda makers to bring favorite flavors to different states.

So how's that new Sour Patch Kids Slurpee at 7-Eleven?

Texas got Manzanita Sol, which is a beverage that's been in the U.S. since 2005 and originated in Mexico. Each soda was selected from suggestions submitted to 7-Eleven.

Prices for the Manzanita Sol Slurpee start at $1.20 and will be available in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and at participating 7-Eleven stores in Texas for a limited amount of time.

Manzanita Sol has a crisp, tart apple taste.

Don't understand the hype? Manzanita Sol for Mexicans is like Dr Pepper for Texans.

The thought of eating tacos with a Manzanita Sol Slurpee has my mouth watering.
