Don't want to cook? Take your family to Americano in Dallas for Sunday dinner

Gathering your family around a table once a week is hard enough, plus you've got to figure out some form of sustenance to give them -- that's sometimes your only incentive to get them to come to supper.

But now don't worry about the struggle of gathering your whole family and cooking for them. The Americano now offers a Sunday family-style dinner, so there's no need to stress about food on top of finding out that your son failed three months of algebra and casually forgot to mention it.

The dinner runs from 5-10 p.m. every Sunday and is $28 per person or $12 for kids 12 and under (which makes me wish I was 12 again because I ate like three adults when I was that age thanks to my metabolism).

The abbreviated family-style menu includes mixed greens or Caesar salad, two different kinds of pizza or pasta and gelato for dessert, so I hope you're family likes traditional Italian.

As you can see, if you're looking for at home family meal prices, this isn't where you'll find it, but if you've got the time and the money to shake off the stress of cooking and head downtown, this is the place to do it.
