If Greenville Avenue Pizza Company opens a restaurant and it's not located on Dallas' famed Greenville Avenue, can you still call it that?
Yes, say owners Sammy and Molly Mandell.
Greenville Avenue Pizza Company will sprout a second restaurant near Garland and Peavy Roads in East Dallas. Neighbors likely know that delicious corner, home to Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House, Good 2 Go Taco and 20 Feet Seafood Joint.
The tiny, coming-soon GAPCo 2.0 will have room for 16 people to dine in. It will really be more of a pick-up pizza place.
The original GAPCo on Lowest Greenville, near Good Records and Trader Joe's, will remain.
The new restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night crowds until 1 a.m. It's expected to open in fall 2016. 1145 Peavy Road, Dallas.
