Taste of the NFL is designed to be delicious, yes. But the event at the end of NFL Draft Weekend was also for a good cause -- supporting the North Texas Food Bank.

Attendees at AT&T Stadium sampled upscale tailgate food from more than a dozen Dallas-area chefs while they met Dallas Cowboys players and cheerleaders and bid on auction items.

The event raised more than $428,000, says a spokesperson for the North Texas Food Bank. That money could provide a whopping 1.28 million meals.
