Those mouthwatering photos you kept seeing on your foodie friend's Instagram feed over the weekend? Those were likely from Savor Dallas, the annual food and wine festival put on by The Dallas Morning News. Savor Dallas takes food fun to a higher level, offering chef's tastings, wine samples and even a morning dedicated to Dallasites' favorite meal, brunch.

At the Arts District Garden Party (formerly known as the Wine Stroll), Savor Dallas invited winemakers from all over the world to our famed Arts District.

The green space near the Winspear Opera House basically became a posh happy hour.

And obviously, there were selfies. Take a look:

One of the most anticipated events of the weekend was the Grand Tasting.

Attendees at the Fair Park soiree got to taste some of the hottest Dallas chefs' culinary creations while they sipped wine and spirits. Here's what you missed:

Savor Dallas finished elegantly, appropriately, with Waffle Wars. Because brunch.

Delicious, right? The Breakfast Club came to life -- then put on a pair of heels, because this is brunch, y'all -- during the final Savor Dallas event, a sold-out battle of brunch.

Chefs got creative with their waffles, such as Cafe Momentum's fried rice waffle served with smoked pork belly and bourbon-soy syrup. Cocktails were served, of course. It's 5 o'clock somewhere?

No drooling, please:
