Look out for a seafood restaurant called Water Grill sometime in fall 2016 in Uptown Dallas.
Water Grill originated in Los Angeles in 1989 and has sprouted three more restaurants in California. The restaurant coming to McKinney Avenue in Dallas is Water Grill's first jump outside of the Golden State.
Water Grill is a straight-ahead seafood restaurant, with a menu of swordfish, salmon, scallops, oysters and lobster. Entrees at dinner cost $30 to $40 per person. (See the downtown LA menu here.)
The interior is expected to look like a refurbished ship, with wood sourced from old barns.
Expected to open in fall 2016 at 1920 McKinney Ave., Dallas. watergrill.com.
