A new R Taco in Mesquite takes the tally up to seven R Tacos in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The restaurant, formerly Rusty Taco and named for founder Russell "Rusty" Fenton, is now
majority owned by Buffalo Wild Wings Inc.
The growing company now has restaurants in Minnesota
and Colorado.
The Mesquite restaurant opens Friday, Jan. 15. The first 10 people in line at 7 a.m. get tacos for a year. (Not into standing in line at 7 a.m.? There's also Free Taco Day at the Mesquite store from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Anyone who follows R Taco on social media will get a free taco.)
Another new R Taco recently opened in Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas.
