Before you go thinking that a Plano restaurant will be selling hashish, sheesh: Hash House A Go Go is a restaurant.
Hash House describes itself as "twisted farm food" that specializes in potato hash dishes topped usual with ingredients such as mushrooms, bacon or cheese, and more unusual ones such as meatloaf or pork tenderloin. The menu also includes burgers, waffles, benedicts and sliders.
The Plano restaurant will be the first Hash House in Texas.
The restaurant has expanded from the original in San Diego to about 10 locations including Las Vegas, Chicago and Orlando.
It's expected to open at Preston Park Village, at the corner of Preston Road and West Park Boulevard in Plano, in March or April, according to a press release.
Though breakfast food seems to be Hash House's specialty, it has separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and will be open all day.
