The development at Sylvan Avenue and Interstate 30 in West Dallas will include Whisk Crêpes Café, expected to open in early October.

The growing corner in West Dallas currently includes a grocery store called Cox Farms Market, new apartments, ramen shop Ten and a wine bar and pizza shop, Cibo Divino.

Whisk Crêpes Café will be a fast-casual restaurant, according to a press release from October 2014. Crepes are thin French pancakes, and Julien Eelsen's store will sell both sweet and savory selections.

"My hope is that Whisk's crepes, beverages and authentic atmosphere will transport people's imaginations to a leisurely afternoon at a Parisian sidewalk cafe," said Eelsen, who is from Paris, in a statement.
