Uchi

This Japanese/sushi restaurant opened to rave reviews in June. While getting a table might be difficult, getting a drink is not.

Uchi hosts a Sake Social hour - make that an hour and a half - daily from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Get $3 sake, hot sake and Kirin Ichiban drafts, and $7 house wines by the glass.

Plus choose from a dozen light bites ranging in price from $3 to $8.

This hoppy chain boasts 50 craft beers on tap as well as 500 others in the cooler.

The weekday happy hour runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and brings with it $4 select drafts, $6 select cocktails and house wines by the glass, $7 Pilsner Urquell and Jameson boilermakers.

There's also a $5 tavern snacks menu.

Handcrafted sodas, cocktail elixirs and ice cream floats are on the menu at this Lower Greenville spot.

Happy hour runs weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m., Thursdays 10 to 11 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays 10 p.m. to midnight.

This restaurant, a sibling of the Mitchell, opened three months ago in Deep Ellum.
