A war on Tex-Mex? New York Times suggests peas belong in guacamole

It seems as though The New York Times found its black-or-blue-dress moment today by suggesting that the world add green peas to guacamole.

The Internet lost it.

Texans and wannabe Texans across the country spouted off on Twitter to counter the "liberal media's" suggestion to desecrate the holy guacamole.
