Two bits of news from Del Frisco's Restaurant Group: First, it will move its well-known Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in Far North Dallas to Uptown Dallas in 2016 or 2017. Second, its casual cousin, Del Frisco's Grille, will open its fourth restaurant in D-FW at The Shops at Legacy in Plano on June 19.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House has been in Far North Dallas since 1994 and is considered a staple on the steakhouse scene. Dallas Morning News restaurant critic Leslie Brenner noted in an October three-star review that "the sprawling Far North Dallas restaurant seems always to be hopping." (Some, it seems, are dining on the corporate card. Lucky!) Read more about the new Uptown address Del Frisco's will occupy from DMN business writer Steve Brown.

Del Frisco's Grille is a trendier and more bar-focused restaurant than the namesake steakhouse. The coming-soon Plano Del Frisco's Grille will have a patio and seat 200 people.

Del Frisco's Grille launched a new menu that now includes items such as a veggie burger and a meatball flatbread. See lunch, brunch and dinner menus below.
